Welbeck Land has now submitted an outline planning application for a high-quality, well-connected and environmentally responsible residential development on land at High Street, Ingatestone. The proposals have been informed by technical work and feedback received during the public consultation.

The submitted application seeks outline planning permission for up to 32 residential dwellings, including affordable homes, together with public open space, enhanced pedestrian and cycle connections, sustainable drainage, ecological enhancements and the retention of existing vegetation where possible.

What has been submitted?

The outline planning application includes:

  • Up to 32 residential dwellings, including 50% affordable homes.

  • A policy-compliant and sensitively designed residential development.

  • Public green open space for existing and future residents to enjoy.

  • New and enhanced pedestrian and cycle connections.

  • A sustainable drainage strategy to manage surface water runoff.

  • Landscape and ecological enhancements, including the retention of existing vegetation where appropriate.
